Responsibilities

• Oversee physical database design and implement performance tuning strategies.
• Lead code and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Implement disaster recovery protocols for database servers.
• Create standards and best practices for database design and development.
• Write complex stored procedures and enhance database applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database environments.
• Proficiency in MS-SQL and Transact-SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, query design, and optimization.
• Knowledge of database administration and architecture in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding of large data models and business logic.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, networks, and storage devices including SANs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
