Description

Manage, monitor, and optimize enterprise database systems to ensure high availability and performance. You will own the release pipeline and incident response for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform deployment, configuration, and maintenance of high availability enterprise solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve database issues, providing workarounds or escalations when necessary.
• Execute disaster recovery planning and recovery procedures.
• Automate system administration, monitoring, and code deployment tasks.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technical systems administration and implementation.
• 8+ years of experience in database administration and monitoring.
• Proficiency with MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps activities, concepts, and tools.
• Technical networking skills including Layer 3, subnetting, addressing, and VPN.
• Expertise in database server specification, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Ability to work in 24x7x365 production environments with minimal supervision.
