Description

You will design, install, maintain, and upgrade enterprise production databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into effective database solutions.
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics, implementing improvements and troubleshooting issues.
• Implement and test disaster recovery and high availability solutions, including clustering and replication.
• Perform database security management, covering user provisioning, auditing, and compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle databases (versions 12.1 through 19c).
• Expertise in Oracle RAC or ExaData/ExaCC/ExaCS environments.
• Proficiency in database installation, upgrading, migrating, patching, and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle OEM, RMAN backup and restore, and performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, specifically Python, Shell, and PowerShell.
• Experience working within Unix/Linux operating systems.
