Description

You will own the design, automation, and management of cloud-based data solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate Snowflake data solutions and manage associated infrastructure.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates to provision and manage Azure resources.
• Automate database provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and backup processes across various databases.
• Integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of progressive experience in database administration or equivalent role.
• Expertise with Snowflake, including performance tuning, workload management, and security.
• Strong direct experience with Azure cloud services, including Snowflake on Azure and Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CI/CD.
• Experience with database performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
