Description

You will design and manage scalable database solutions for our applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient, scalable database solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Monitor performance and optimize queries, indexes, and schemas for reliability and speed.
• Implement and maintain database security controls to protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate with application developers to optimize schema designs and SQL.
• Manage and support AWS database infrastructure (e.g., RDS, Aurora, Redshift).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Database Engineer or DBA.
• Deep knowledge of DBMSs including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Redshift.
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced query optimization.
• Strong understanding of AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for database resources.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Experience with Terraform Cloud and IaC workflows.
• Automation/scripting capabilities using Python or Shell.
• Knowledge of database security best practices and backup/restore procedures.
• AWS networking fundamentals.
