Description

You will own the design, development, and optimization of the data layer for core applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Develop PL/SQL scripts and packages to automate database operations.
• Implement indexing, query performance tuning, and partitioning strategies.
• Collaborate with Java developers to integrate databases with Java-based applications.
• Manage database security, backups, and recovery while ensuring governance compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in Stored Procedures (SPs) development.
• Proficiency with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server databases.
• Hands-on experience in Java programming for database integration.
• Experience in query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, scripting, and batch processing.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling.
