Description

You will design, implement, and optimize database systems supporting enterprise applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database systems ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Maintain and optimize database environments across the organization.
• Ensure data integrity through proper database design, normalization, indexing, and partitioning.
• Manage backup/recovery processes and participate in disaster recovery planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering or administration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Proficiency with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud database services including AWS RDS, Azure SQL, and Google Cloud SQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of database security best practices.
