Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and infrastructure to support analytics and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OLTP and OLAP databases, including data warehousing, data lake, and lake house architectures.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from heterogeneous systems into data lake environments in real time.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries, storage, and system performance for big data databases and compute engines.
• Own the deployment and management of data changes across development, staging, and production environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, SQL, ETL, and data warehousing.
• 7+ years of coding experience in Java, Python, R, or equivalent languages.
• 4+ years of big data experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead architecting data lake or data warehouse systems.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PL-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including Redshift, S3, Aurora/RDS, DMS, EC2, Glue, and EMR.
• Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Knowledge of storage formats like Parquet, Delta, Apache Hudi, or Apache Iceberg.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and the SDLC.
