Description

You will own the reliability and performance of MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB production environments. Your work centers on proactive monitoring, incident management, and deep-dive root cause analysis to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB clusters in production.
• Build and maintain automation scripts in Python to streamline database operations.
• Lead incident management and conduct root cause analysis for system failures.
• Execute performance tuning and optimization to ensure high availability.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address critical production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Database Administration (DBA) or Database Operations experience.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB and PostgreSQL administration.
• Hands-on experience with YugabyteDB.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation tasks.
• Proven track record in production support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
