Description

You will design, install, maintain, and upgrade enterprise production databases to ensure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database solutions by translating business requirements from clients, analysts, and developers.
• Monitor performance metrics to troubleshoot issues and implement system improvements.
• Deploy and test high availability and disaster recovery solutions using clustering and replication technologies.
• Manage database security through user provisioning, auditing, and compliance adherence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle databases, specifically versions 12.1 through 19c.
• Hands-on expertise with RAC or Exadata, ExaCC, or ExaCS environments.
• Proficiency in database installation, upgrading, migrating, patching, and disaster recovery.
• Experience using Oracle OEM and RMAN for backup and restore operations.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Ability to script using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
