Description

You will own the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise database systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, size, and implement enterprise-level database systems.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide remediation steps.
• Design, implement, and test high availability solutions including clustering.
• Execute data movement for ETL, backup/recovery, and business needs.
• Control and execute code deployments to upper environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years supporting Oracle RAC or ExaData/ExaCC/ExaCS.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 12.1 through 19c.
• Deep experience with installation, upgrading, migrating, patching, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Experience with Oracle OEM for monitoring and problem diagnosis.
• Proficiency in backup and restore using RMAN.
• In-depth knowledge of Goldengate or Data Guard replication.
• Experience administering ETL tools including Informatica.
• Proficiency in Unix, Shell, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Linux and Unix (AIX) operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of other open source database platforms.
• Experience with database capacity planning and resource analysis.
