Description

Provide primary support for critical, complex production Oracle databases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve production database incidents.
• Administer Oracle across Unix/Linux environments for 24x7 availability.
• Manage backup/recovery and Disaster Recovery planning using NAS and RMAN.
• Develop and document operational and application database standards.
• Proactively identify and implement database issue resolutions.

Required Skills

• Strong operational familiarity with Oracle RAC (11g, 12c, 19c+).
• Minimum 2 years of DBA responsibilities in Oracle environments.
• Experience with Oracle installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively under high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with AWS, including EC2.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or Cloud RDS.
• Experience with Cloud migrations or Database Migrations to Cloud.
