Description

You will lead data engineering solutions for capability improvements, short cycle enhancements, and cloud migration initiatives. Responsibilities include designing and building data access layers for multiple applications and developing data solutions to support Equity & High-Income Portfolio Management, Research, and Reporting Products. You will act as the primary escalation point for support teams and lead small development teams through data engineering lifecycles.

• Design and build data access layers for multiple applications.
• Develop data solutions for Equity, Portfolio Management, and Reporting products.
• Lead small development teams through data engineering lifecycles.
• Act as the primary escalation point for support teams requiring engineering assistance.
• Drive cloud migration initiatives and short cycle enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with ETL development using Informatica.
• Proficiency in Unix and Autosys.
• Strong skills in Data Modelling and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and optimal design for data storage and retrieval.
• Practical knowledge of Data Movement.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools including Maven, Jenkins, and uDeploy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building solutions using AWS.
• Knowledge of Portfolio Management & Research concepts within the Asset Management or financial services domain.
