Description

You will design and build data solutions for Equity and High-Income Portfolio Management, supporting Research and Reporting products. You will own the migration of data platforms to AWS and develop robust data access layers for multiple applications. You will serve as the engineering escalation point for support teams and lead small development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions, including capability improvements and lifecycle initiatives.
• Migrate data platforms to AWS, leveraging cloud technologies for scalable storage and retrieval.
• Develop data access layers and ETL processes using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica.
• Lead small development teams and act as the primary engineering escalation point for support issues.
• Optimize SQL performance and data models for both application and batch processing needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Engineering or Data Services.
• Hands-on proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with ETL development using Informatica.
• Working knowledge of Unix and Autosys for job scheduling and automation.
• Experience building solutions using AWS cloud technologies.
• Deep understanding of data movement, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and uDeploy.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile delivery teams.
