Description

You will manage database infrastructure to ensure stability, scalability, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Execute database schema changes, bottleneck analysis, and outage prevention.
• Perform database maintenance, recovery, and server performance improvements.
• Develop stored procedures, ETL processes, and internal tools.
• Review and optimize queries and stored procedures for performance.
• Enforce database security, standards, and guidelines.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with relational databases, specifically DB2 Linux or Sybase.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Unix/K-Shell scripting on Linux platforms.
• Deep knowledge of relational database performance tuning, including indexing and memory management.
• Experience with database statistics, reorgs, and de-normalization concepts.
• Ability to write high-quality, optimized SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Strong understanding of ETL, Data Management, and SQL.
• Experience with MongoDB, Hadoop, or Tableau.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Greenplum and familiarity with Data lakes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and background in the finance domain.
