Description

Manage the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of database systems and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database structures, tables, indexes, and relationships to meet application requirements.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and resolve bottlenecks.
• Implement data security measures including access controls, encryption, and auditing to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Linux server administration and manage cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools based on specific project needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database management systems.
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and compliance protocols.
• Experience with Linux server administration and cloud infrastructure management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex performance bottlenecks.
