Description

Drive cloud migrations and own end-to-end database security, design, and performance for the platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead database migrations to the cloud while ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Manage database security by implementing protection measures, performing regular scans, and resolving defects within SLA.
• Own disaster recovery plans to meet RTO and RPO objectives for all databases.
• Design databases for high availability, scalability, and performance to meet platform SLIs.
• Optimize performance by analyzing AWR reports, conducting SQL code reviews, and tuning queries.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of hands-on Oracle RDBMS experience in designing and managing databases independently.
• 2-3 years of PL/SQL programming, including performance tuning and code reviews.
• 1-2 years of experience using GoldenGate for data replication.
• 1-2 years of experience managing AWS RDS and IAM role management.
• 3-4 years of scripting experience using Shell, Python, or Go.
• Proven experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Strong database design and SQL skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL, specifically Graph DB.
• Experience with ETL tools.
