Description

You will design and implement data models for a cards and payments platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create logical and physical data models for new product builds.
• Design database schemas aligned with frontend and backend business logic.
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate database designs with backend APIs.
• Manage data structures throughout the software development life cycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL development, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Solid understanding of NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience designing database schemas that interface with backend APIs.
• Knowledge of backend technologies and their relationship to database design.
• Experience with logical and physical data modeling.
• Foundational understanding of Java.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Background in migration projects.
• Knowledge of credit card platforms or fintech payment technologies.
