Description

You will lead technical execution for database-related products and features.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical database structures, including schemas and data integrity controls.
• Manage database utilities for access control, backup, recovery, and image copies.
• Execute database optimization, clustering, and report generation.
• Collaborate with engineering managers to identify and prioritize technical debt.
• Provide coding mentorship to junior engineers and serve as the technical point of contact for other teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Deep expertise with SQL Server.
• Strong background in logical and physical DB design.
• Experience with DB clustering and server management.
• Proficiency in ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management tools.
• Proven track record in backup, recovery, and data integrity management.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to assess application requirements for technical feasibility and scope estimation.
