Description

You will manage and maintain production and non-production databases, ensuring compliance with application specifications and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all production and non-production databases, including installations and configurations of core infrastructure and clients.
• Provide 24x7 escalated database support for North America Zone breweries and vertical operation facilities, including weekends and holidays.
• Monitor and troubleshoot alerts regarding alert logs, jobs, disk groups, tablespaces, and performance issues.
• Perform database performance tuning and provide root cause analysis for production-related issues.
• Drive changes to database and software architectures to address recurring limitations and solve complex business problems using a data-driven approach.

Required Skills

• Extensive professional experience with Sybase, MySQL, and Oracle.
• 5+ years of experience in database engineering or administration.
• Proven ability to perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with database installations and core infrastructure configuration.
• Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support for production environments.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and architectural evaluation.
