Description

You will own the reliability, performance, and replication of our database infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Tune and optimize complex queries across DB2, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB environments.
• Design and maintain real-time data replication pipelines using Kafka and CDC mechanisms.
• Manage AWS database services, including IAM permissions, VPC networking, and CloudWatch monitoring.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with DB2, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of Kafka and Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns.
• Proficiency in AWS fundamentals, specifically IAM, networking, and monitoring tools.
• Proven track record in production database performance tuning and support.
• Experience with automated database deployment and infrastructure-as-code practices.
