Description

You will maintain, optimize, and enhance database performance and storage capacity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database systems and related infrastructure to ensure optimized performance and reliability.
• Assist development teams in designing new database programs that meet organizational data storage needs.
• Write support programs and scripts to increase data storage capacity and improve efficiency.
• Debug database scripts and programs, resolving conflicts and ensuring system stability.
• Mentor database administrators, providing technical support and adhering to best practices for secure data storage, backup, and archiving.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with database technologies, platforms, and architectural design.
• Strong proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher), including SQL joins, aggregations, and execution/query plans.
• Experience implementing ETL processes for data transformation and integration.
• Proficiency with source control and CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
