Description

You will maintain and enhance database performance while designing new data storage solutions. You will own the stability, optimization, and secure archiving of database systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance and resolve conflicts.
• Assist development teams in designing new database programs that meet organizational data storage needs.
• Write support programs and scripts to increase data storage capacity and automate ETL processes.
• Perform debugging on database scripts, review reports, and document design and configuration processes.
• Mentor database administrators and provide technical support while adhering to security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with database technologies and architectural design.
• Strong proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL), including joins and aggregations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher), including execution/query plan analysis.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration patterns.
• Proficiency with source control and CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications, licenses, or registrations in database engineering.
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies while communicating with cross-functional teams.
