Description

You will design, implement, and maintain Oracle database solutions to ensure optimal performance and data consistency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support application functionality.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks including backups, optimization, and security checks.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Optimize queries and database structures to improve efficiency and response times.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with applications and ensure data consistency.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator or Database Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization.
• Expertise with Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp) for data export and import operations.
• Experience with AWS cloud services including RDS, EC2, and S3.
• Understanding of cloud database architecture.
• Knowledge of database backup/recovery strategies, data security, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for database health and performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex data migration projects.
