Description

You will own database development and performance optimization across RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize performance for major RDBMS platforms and MongoDB.
  • Develop Python scripts to automate database tasks and workflows.
  • Manage and maintain database environments on Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Collaborate with dispersed teams using Agile practices to deliver engineering solutions.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant database engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and development.
  • Intermediate skills in RDBMS and MongoDB performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and replication processes.
  • Experience with version control using Git.
  • Knowledge of ETL products such as Talend or Informatica.
  • Ability to work effectively within Agile frameworks.
