Description

You will design, provision, and manage the database infrastructure across Azure Cloud and Windows Server environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated database jobs, ETL workflows, and maintenance tasks using SSIS and PowerShell.
• Proactively monitor system performance, optimize queries, manage indexing strategies, and resolve hardware or network bottlenecks.
• Manage user permissions, data governance, and compliance with state privacy regulations.
• Maintain disaster recovery strategies, perform failover testing, and provide support for mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams on application environment configuration, IIS administration, and security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise database systems.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server and Windows Server administration.
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud infrastructure and services.
• Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and SSIS for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Familiarity with .NET applications and PowerApps, Power BI Services, and Power Automate.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification.
