Description

You will design, maintain, and optimize core database environments with a focus on automation, scheduling, and infrastructure scaling.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage hardware/software configurations for Azure Cloud and Windows Servers, ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.
• Implement and monitor automated database jobs, maintenance tasks, and ETL workflows to ensure maximum uptime.
• Write and maintain PowerShell and SSIS scripts to automate routine DBA tasks, deployments, backups, and health checks.
• Proactively monitor system performance, resolve bottlenecks, optimize queries, and manage indexing strategies.
• Maintain disaster recovery strategies, perform failover testing, and provide support for mission-critical systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database infrastructure or DBA roles.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, Windows Server, and Azure Cloud environments.
• Advanced scripting proficiency in PowerShell and SSIS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Solid understanding of storage systems, network architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with .NET applications and troubleshooting under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification.
• Experience with PowerApps, Power BI Services, and Power Automate.
