Description

You will design, manage, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Windows Server and Azure cloud environments, managing user permissions and data governance compliance.
• Automate database maintenance, ETL workflows, and health checks using PowerShell and SSIS scripts.
• Monitor system performance, optimize query execution, and manage indexing strategies to resolve bottlenecks.
• Implement and test disaster recovery strategies and failover protocols for mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support application development, IIS administration, and security best practices.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server, Windows Server, and Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting and SSIS for automation and ETL processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and .NET application environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues in production.
• Familiarity with PowerApps, Power BI Services, and Power Automate.
• Azure Database Administrator Associate certification or equivalent Microsoft SQL Server certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 24/7 support for critical production incidents.
• Knowledge of state data privacy regulations and data governance frameworks.
