Description

You will design, build, and maintain database environments and automation workflows across Windows and Linux platforms. You will own the existing database infrastructure and develop self-service solutions in collaboration with the Infrastructure Engineering team. You will partner with software developers and trading teams to optimize and scale database access for applications. You will maintain database infrastructure within both internal and external-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the existing database environment and automation workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or database engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one database platform: SQL Server, Postgres, Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, a technical discipline, or comparable professional experience.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with multiple departments.

Preferred Skills

• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, information security concepts, and operating system internals.
