Description

Manage and optimize SQL Server environments across on-premises and public cloud infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server clusters, mirroring, log shipping, and Always-On for disaster recovery.
• Execute database migrations from on-premises systems to public cloud environments.
• Implement automated processes to improve database system reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize queries and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database management.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server configuration and advanced features.
• Hands-on experience with SQL versions 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019.
• Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Experience with SQL scripting and Python.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Perl, YAML, or Microservices.
