Description

You will manage and maintain database environments across on-premise and cloud platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute database administration tasks including installation, configuration, and user access management.
• Manage backup and recovery processes, monitoring, and space utilization.
• Perform database migrations, mirroring, and partitioning.
• Handle ticket management and technical troubleshooting.
• Optimize performance through tuning and logical/physical database design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with SQL Server (2014 through 2019).
• Experience with Oracle version 19 and Exadata.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud database management.
• Knowledge of DDL constructs and logical/physical database design.
• Experience using OEM, Idera, or similar database monitoring tools.
• Ability to use PowerShell or other programming languages for automation of SQL installs and processes.
