Description

You will manage and maintain enterprise-level Oracle and MS SQL database environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle and MS SQL relational databases for OLTP and DSS environments.
• Execute data design, modeling, monitoring, and performance tuning across all platforms.
• Manage configuration, administration, and patching of application database servers.
• Oversee the promotion of internal and vendor-supplied source code through the SDLC.
• Automate processes using Python and PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience including Database Server, Application Server, Data Guard, Grid Control, Advanced Security, Standby databases, and RMAN.
• 8+ years of PL/SQL programming and performance tuning.
• 8+ years of MS SQL experience including versions 2008, stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, and linked servers.
• 8+ years of UNIX shell script development and maintenance.
• 8+ years of configuration management for Crystal/BO reports and SQL database objects via Team Foundation Server.
• 8+ years of web application server administration and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of experience delivering hosted platform services.
• 2+ years of experience with container and orchestration technologies.
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD delivery pipelines, Python (v2+), PowerShell (v5.1+), and SCRUM agile frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience planning and implementing technical architecture and hosted platform services.
