Description

Manage the migration of DB2-LUW data to a PostgreSQL environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and validate data migration to ensure data integrity.
• Develop migration strategies including data cleansing and validation processes.
• Write complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for ETL processes.
• Collaborate with Application Development SMEs to ensure proper data mapping and ETL optimization.
• Maintain project documentation and status updates on SharePoint.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with data migration processes.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and creating stored procedures.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases such as DB2 or SQL Server.
• 1+ year of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 1+ year of experience with DBeaver or IBM Data Studio.
• 1+ year of experience with Erwin Data Modeling Tool.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Proficiency with SQL scripts, AWS, and Java.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 years of related experience, or a Master's degree.
