Description

You will lead the migration of DB2-LUW data to a PostgreSQL environment, owning the end-to-end process from strategy to validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data migration strategies, including cleansing and validation processes to ensure data quality.
• Create complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for ETL processes.
• Collaborate with Application Development SMEs to ensure proper data mapping and optimized ETL performance.
• Validate data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Maintain migration documentation and status updates on SharePoint.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with data migration processes.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and creating stored procedures.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases such as DB2 or SQL Server.
• 1+ year of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 1+ year of experience with DBeaver Tool or IBM Data Studio.
• 1+ year of experience with Erwin Data Modeling Tool.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a Master's degree, or two years of experience at a lower-level Database Migration Analyst equivalent.
