Description

You will execute data migration from a DB2-LUW environment to PostgreSQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and validate data migrations to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and run data migration strategies, including cleansing and validation.
• Create complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for ETL processes.
• Collaborate with Application Development SMEs to map data correctly and optimize ETL.
• Maintain migration documentation and status on SharePoint.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with data migration processes.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and creating Stored Procedures.
• 3+ years of experience with a relational database, such as DB2 or SQL Server.
• 1+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 1+ years of experience with DB2 or IBM Data Studio.
• 1+ years of experience with Erwin Data Modeling Tool.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and DB2-LUW export utilities.
• Strong knowledge of data mapping process and best practices.
