Description

Engineer database migrations, configure infrastructure tools, and ensure seamless data transfer across environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up Harness for database migration processes and onboard accounts into HashiCorp for secure access management.
• Order service accounts, configure database permissions, and migrate database configurations and data to new environments.
• Onboard Splunk for monitoring and logging, and configure DNS names to point to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) containers.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to verify migration success and write comprehensive documentation for ongoing operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with database migration and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring and logging.
• Proficiency with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and container orchestration.
• Strong skills in DNS configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with QA testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with HashiCorp tools and onboarding procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Harness CI/CD tools for database migrations.
