Description

Drive migration of on-premises Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS Cloud platforms while supporting GCP infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Migrate on-premises Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS Cloud platforms.
• Support and troubleshoot infrastructure on the GCP platform when required.
• Debug, identify root causes, and resolve application issues.
• Review Data Definition Language (DDL) prior to deployment as requested by application teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a DBA role supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle.
• 5+ years of experience utilizing AWS and GCP cloud services.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and Informatica.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience provisioning, upgrading, and tuning database services.
• Familiarity with AWS services like KMS, Glue Catalog, Athena, IAM, S3, and RDS.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, capable of independent and collaborative work.
