Description

You will serve as the technical specialist for performance troubleshooting and administration within an Enterprise Cloud Services environment, acting as the Single Point of Contact for strategic customers regarding SAP HANA.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical escalations and resolve complex issues for large-scale SAP HANA and ASE database systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, tuning, and system stability for databases ranging from 64GB to 22TB.
• Manage database deliverables including system copies, high availability, disaster recovery, and replication.
• Collaborate with incident management, technical architecture, and SAP HANA development teams to address technical challenges.
• Maintain technical documentation and support database installations, upgrades, and export-import processes.

Required Skills

• 7-8 years of experience as a Database Administrator in a global operations environment.
• Expertise in SAP HANA and ASE database platforms.
• Deep knowledge of performance tuning, system optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with security concepts, backup and recovery strategies.
• Proficiency with automation tools, scripting, and database installation/upgrade processes.
• Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule and weekend tasks during EMEA time zones.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Public Cloud domains including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Professional Database Platform, PMP, or ITIL certifications.
