Database Programmer Analyst

As a Database Programmer Analyst, you will own application development procedures and system enhancements. You will consult with stakeholders to recommend programming solutions and serve as a subject matter expert. You will also coach junior analysts and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify system enhancements and define design specifications for implementation.
• Develop complex logic using SQL and stored procedures to support business requirements.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, conduct testing, and debug issues.
• Assess risk during business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Act as an advisor to junior team members and resolve technical issues with autonomy.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Applications Development, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server database management.
• Strong expertise in Database Performance Tuning and optimization.
• Experience in Data Analysis and Data Modeling.
• Ability to build complex logic through SQLs and Procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
