Own the reliability, performance, and stability of production Oracle database environments across cloud and on-premise platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support production Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability and stability.
• Resolve complex database incidents and troubleshoot issues across cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Monitor database performance and implement improvements to enhance system reliability.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve critical production issues and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA or Database Reliability Engineer.
• Strong experience managing Oracle databases in both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with the ELK stack for monitoring and logging.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Proven track record in production support and complex problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud database architectures.
• Contributions to technical knowledge base articles.
