Description

You lead database migration and architecture projects for enterprise customers, focusing on high-volume mission-critical environments. You collaborate directly with clients to deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and implementation support for migrating on-premises databases to AWS cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy future-state database architectures for OLTP/OLAP and batch processing workloads.
• Execute hands-on database migrations from Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase to AWS using SCT and DMS.
• Lead team members and manage customer engagements, ensuring technical delivery meets mission-critical standards.
• Implement database encryption strategies and configure high-availability solutions such as Oracle Data Guard and AlwaysOn.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of experience leading team members and working with customers.
• Expertise in AWS services: RDS, EC2, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), and Database Migration Services.
• Strong background in Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase database management and migration.
• Proficiency in SQL and database encryption strategies.
• Experience designing high-volume, mission-critical database solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex customer database migrations.
• Any Graduate degree.
