Description

You will act as the subject matter expert for Azure database technologies and infrastructure automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy, and configure Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Recommend specific database options to application teams based on production use cases.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to implement infrastructure as code for database provisioning.
• Establish standards for Azure database deployment, networking best practices, and security protocols.
• Configure disaster recovery setups and support production DBAs with Azure PaaS implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration or engineering.
• Deep expertise in Azure SQL Database.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Strong understanding of Azure platform capabilities and database deployment options.
• Practical knowledge of Azure networking and security configurations.
• Experience supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) efforts.
• Ability to design and implement disaster recovery strategies.
