Description

You will provide first-line support for database operations, infrastructure, and user connectivity in an on-site role.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve user connectivity issues and ensure database services remain operational.
• Manage user accounts by creating, deleting, or modifying roles and resetting passwords.
• Respond to monitoring alerts regarding performance issues (CPU, memory, disk usage) and manage scheduled backup monitoring.
• Troubleshoot basic performance complaints and execute pre-approved SQL scripts for maintenance.
• Support database health checks, storage management, and assist with data gathering for SOX and HIPAA audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a database support role.
• Experience working in an Onsite-Offshore model, coordinating with remote teams.
• Familiarity with SQL Scripts for maintenance and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud environments, including IaaS storage support.
• Ability to triage and escalate complex incidents via ticketing systems.
• Experience monitoring database health, error logs, and resource availability.
• Understanding of basic query optimization and indexing issues.
• Experience supporting database deployments for both On-Prem and IaaS environments.
