Description

You will manage and support Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments across UAT and Production.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain database environments for Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Manage Oracle/PostgreSQL RAC, HA, DR, and standby configurations.
• Execute logical and physical backup procedures using RMAN, expdp/impdp, pg_dump, pg_dumpall, and pg_basebackup.
• Troubleshoot Apache httpd, reverse proxies, OWASP CRS tuning (WAF), and ActiveMQ.
• Apply data patches and scripts using SQL and PL/SQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database support.
• Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for record checking and patching.
• Hands-on experience with Linux command line and file management.
• Ability to troubleshoot networking basics such as ping.
• Experience executing Java jars.
• Understanding of database high availability and disaster recovery architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OWASP CRS tuning and WAF configuration.
