Description

You will develop and maintain application modules using C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Blazor.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain application modules using C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Blazor with SyncFusion UI components.
  • Design and build new modules, including an Enforcement module for tracking cases, violations, penalties, and citations.
  • Build and optimize RESTful API endpoints for all data operations, ensuring proper filtering, pagination, and error handling.
  • Refactor existing codebase to eliminate dead code and reduce complexity following Microsoft C# and .NET 9.0 Core standards.
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct UAT, and translate non-technical needs into technical specifications.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five or more years of professional experience developing web applications.
  • Three or more years developing using C# and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET 5+).
  • Demonstrated experience with Blazor (Server or WebAssembly) for building interactive UIs.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including diagnosing query errors and data integrity issues.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.
  • Experience leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) and validating output professionally.
  • Proficiency in working with Git (GitHub) for code submission via pull requests.
  • Experience with XML documentation generation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience optimizing SQL Server data access patterns and eliminating N+1 queries.
  • Experience implementing cross-module UX improvements like dark/light mode persistence.
