Description

You will administrate and manage Databricks workspaces across various environments, ensuring platform reliability and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain clusters, pools, and job scheduling.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and workspace security.
• Implement identity integration with Azure AD, AWS IAM, or GCP IAM.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and availability.
• Optimize cluster performance and manage costs.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in a relevant role.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks architecture and components.
• Experience with cluster configuration, job orchestration, and autoscaling.
• Expertise in security and access control implementation.
• Experience with Unity Catalog and data governance policies.
• Familiarity with Spark performance tuning.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with monitoring and cost optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
