Description

You will independently design, build, and launch data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production. You identify the data required for business problems and implement logging to ensure availability. You work with data infrastructure to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Build data expertise and leverage controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, and data quality.
• Design and launch new data models to support evolving business needs.
• Support existing production processes and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance.
• Resolve data availability and infrastructure issues in large-scale environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, SQL, and scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, EMR, and Hadoop.
• Experience with SQL database design and ETL tools.
• Experience with cloud environments: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
