Job Title: Databricks AI Engineer

Location: Pune/ Hyderabad/ Gurugram/ Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Experience: 6+ Years

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with strong focus on Databricks
• Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark (PySpark)
• Strong experience in Databricks platform, including: 
  • Data pipeline development and optimization
  • Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
  • Lakehouse architecture and Delta tables
  • Features like Time Travel and Unity Catalog
  • Processing large-scale data efficiently
• Good knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions)
• Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience in leading client projects, managing teams/pods, and effort estimation & planning
• Ability to integrate AI/ML outputs with data pipelines for business use cases such as predictions, anomaly detection, and automation.
