Description

You will design and architect Databricks-based data solutions, building scalable pipelines and optimizing performance for enterprise data systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Databricks-based data solutions using Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
• Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver enterprise-grade data architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and establish best practices for cloud data engineering.
• Optimize data models and pipeline performance within Azure or AWS Databricks environments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Data Engineering experience, including 3+ years specifically as a Databricks Architect.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or AWS Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling, performance optimization, and cloud architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
