Databricks Architect

You will architect and implement solutions utilizing Databricks and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and assessment sessions to evaluate existing Teradata environments.
• Architect solutions on AWS, Databricks, Spark, and Object Store.
• Implement end-to-end data warehouse and data mart solutions.
• Migrate workloads from Teradata to Azure Databricks cloud platform.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of total Information Technology experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on AWS, Databricks, Spark, and Object Store.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Data Vault, Dimensional modelling, OLAP design).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with Teradata.
• Familiarity with Data Vault and Dimensional modelling.
